Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow...

Yesterday, I loved you,
Loved you with all my heart.
I missed you constantly,
I hated being apart.
Yesterday, I would have done anything
Just to have you in my world,
And it would just be you and me,
Together as one.
Yesterday, I cared for you,
I cared enough to work it out.
I chose to forgive and tried to forget
All the things you had told me about.
Yesterday, I longed to see
Your loving and caring face.
I wanted to have you near me,
I needed to feel your warm embrace.
Yesterday, I loved you,
I loved you with all my heart.
Missed you constantly,
And hated being apart.

Today, I love you,
But no longer am I in love.
You erased what love I had for you,
By hurting me so much.
Today, I don't need you,
To be in my life.
I don't need the aggravation,
Of trying to make you my wife.
Today, I miss you,
But I don't need to feel your touch.
I don't need to be with you,
Because I don't need that type of love.
Today, I don't care,
I don't need to see you again,
Because I am finally getting over you,
And my feelings just aren't the same.
Today, I love you,
But no longer am I in love.
You erased the love I had for you,
By hurting me so much.

Tomorrow, I will always love you,
But you will be the past.
You will be just another relationship,
Another one that didn't last.
Tomorrow you will be remembered as the fool
Who hurt and betrayed the love I gave to you.
Tomorrow, I won't need you,
For I will find another lover.
Tomorrow, I will hope
That we could be the best of friends.
Maybe this will have changed you?
But only if you have learned your lesson...
Tomorrow, I will always love you,
But you will only be the past.
You will be just another relationship,
That just did not last.

Ah nothing much happening here really :-) Cindy's back home at the moment sorting out her marriage Visa so got a lot of time on my hands when I'm not working. Making the best of my time and getting into lots of song-writing :-) This poem started off as a song-writing effort, but ended up turning into a poem instead! :-)))
